2024
On December 14, 2024, the 2024 LOA ON Winter event for Lostark took place at COEX Magok. DOES Interactive developed and installed the Echidna Mini-Game Zone, an interactive “spot the difference” challenge reimagined for a large touch-based LED screen. Replacing traditional mouse controls, players physically engaged with the content, enhancing immersion and focus through a single-player format. Inspired by the Echidna Legion Raid, the game featured six rounds where players identified differences among seven mirror frames. A 3.5 x 2.5-meter LED screen equipped with a depth camera enabled touch interaction, creating an engaging experience. The game was built using a real-time engine with assets from Smilegate, redesigned for high-resolution display and optimized for intuitive play. The mini-game zone became a major highlight of the event, attracting over 2,000 participants. Despite long queues, it achieved high engagement and positive feedback, showcasing the potential of interactive content at large-scale gaming events by blending Lost Ark's universe with immersive experiences.
